Qualicities' label
Qualicities® : a will to offer a good quality of
life
Historical cities and territories members of the Alliance of European Cultural Cities (A.V.E.C.) are committed in a policy of sustainable development based in particular on the valorization of their heritage.
To achieve their goal, they work daily with an innovating management tool that they created together within the framework of a European project, co-financed by the EU (program INTERREG IIIC).
Qualicities® (Quality - Cities) is a European label established by local communities for the local communities. It is a kind of a reward to the historic towns and territories sustainable development’ policies in Europe.
The Qualicities’ approach insists mainly on valorisation the personnel competencies, the public services multi mandates and the synergy within the local community and the enterprises, the citizens and the public services. This tool, based on a system of reference’ good practices’ document, common to the European historical communities, enables them to mark the difference and get recognized by their citizens and visitors.
Unique in its objectives and in its geographical scope, Qualicities’ label is a distinguished certified mark in conformity with AFNOR, a French certifying and normalization agency, acknowledged worldwide.
